Acomb Construction Ltd has been trading since October 1991. The company was set up by a local family man and all the companies employees live within the Richmondshire area. We aim to provide a good personal service for the Richmondshire area and beyond.

In the past we have undertaken contracts with the MOD, North Yorkshire County Council, Churches Conservation Trust, Darlington Memorial Hospital as well as many Private Clients.

The works we have undertaken with The Churches Conservation Trust were good examples of the traditional skills that our time served operatives have. Recently we have carried out works in the high tech surroundings of the Intensive Care Unit at Darlington Memorial Hospital we have also undertaken works in live wards which has meant additional restrictions and procedures to minimise disruption to staff and patients alike.

As we are located on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park much of our work in the past has been sympathetic restoration of traditional farm buildings into habitable dwellings. As all of our employees are local, they have a strong empathy with the area enabling them to finish buildings so that they aesthetically compliment the surrounding landscape.

Catterick Garrison is also on our doorstep and is currently going through rapid expansion to become the largest Garrison in Europe. With this brings the need to increase the capacity of the services within this area. We have recently constructed several sub stations around the town to develop the infrastructure ready to enable the construction of new accommodation blocks and leisure facilities.

We have now been registered with Constructionline for several years and have up to date CHAS accreditation. We employ the services of an Independent Health and Safety Service Provider who continually assesses and updates our Health and Safety Responsibilities. All of our employees hold CSCS cards and have regular training to compliment their already held qualifications and experience in the Construction Industry.

We can provide a wide range of construction services for both public and private clients. From inception through design to completion on site, whatever your needs we can assist.
